  I didn't have a bad time here. Drinks had a good kick from most bartenders. The 3rd day drinks were average. Food wasn't bad either. Went here 3 days in a row. I was hanging out on the beach each day. Just got a quick bite and drank all day.

  Not sure why there's bad ratings here, but we found it to be the best FOOD on Anna Maria Island. You'll get recommendations to go to the Blue Marlin, Sand Bar and even Waterfront restaurants... All pale in comparison to The Kokonut Hut (or Tiki) We had our best meals there - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast: Eggs Benedict or French Toast Best App: Fried Bacon Wrapped Scallops, Best Meal: Seafood Medley with their Diablo sauce. By far, that was the best meal during our entire stay. Scallops and shrimp over linquine noodles in their own spicy tomato based sauce they call "Diablo". They don't skimp on the seafood - large shrimp and large scallops. No matter which sauce you pick, the sauces are made fresh individually for each meal. Do others like it? Well, they go through 120 dozen eggs (over 1400 eggs!) every breakfast. The live entertainment was good and not too loud. When there's no entertainment, the regular music wasn't too loud and you could actually hear the local games playing on the main TV. Service was quick and friendly and there's not a better sunset location - period. It's also super close to historic Bridge Street (300 yards?) Nice walk. I can't say enough good about this place.
